Tolls

Tolls are a fact of life in Pflugerville, but they bring value if you like speed. Just to the south, the speed limit on 130 jumps to 85 MPH, which is the highest in the US. Most of the restate 75-80 MPH, which makes for a nice commute.

Lady Bird

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is one of those local places most don't go to unless they have visitors, and then they wonder why did it take them so long to come to this place.....

More Meat Please!

There is BBQ, and then there is BBQ. Texas is known for BBQ (the latter one), and one of the best known is The Salt Lick in Driftwood TX, a bit sourh of Austin. One tee shirt I saw there said “I did not get to the top of the food chain to become a vegetarian!” If you like meat, welcome home.

One More Time

There are few certain things in life, but one is that I will move and start another daily photo blog, so hear we go again! I will try not to get too distracted this time :). When we moved to TX, we rented a place that had a Pflugerville address, but was in Round Rock. For URL reasons, I tried going with Round Rock Daily Photo, but it never felt right. This past January, we purchased a home in Pflugerville (Proper), and things are settling down a bit, so I am starting back in with the Pflugerville TX blog. So you know, Pflugerville is a somewhat small area nead Austin TX, so my travels with cameras, and thus my posts, will generally be within 100 miles or so of Pflugerville, or where ever life happens to take me, but I will try to do as much Pflugerville proper stuff as I can. Here we go again!
